$25 adults
$20 children

Kids price includes admission to Scitech as well as pizza for dinner. Parents price include Scitech admission as well as tasty grazing platters. Bar will be available to purchase wine and beer as well as soft drinks and juice boxes for the kids

We are also holding a raffle on the night with 2 x kids science gift baskets to be won. Tickets are $3 each or 4 for $10.  Tickets can be purchased via trybooking or on the night.

P&C Meeting in the library.  All welcome, babysitting, nibbles, wine and excellent company.



Term 3

Friday 6th August 8.45am
New parents to the school are invited to the library for a welcome morning tea.  All other parents also invited to help make the new families feel welcome.

CPS Readathon

Cottesloe Primary School
Start reading and recording your number of books on Friday August 6th
Use your Official Reading Log to keep track of how many books you read. Receive a
reward badge from your teacher for reading 3, 10, 15, 20 books with great prizes
announced at the Book Week assembly!!!
Please remember that CHARACTER COUNTS- books must be appropriate length for
the age of the student so that it will be fair and fun for everyone. Remember that
your parents need to initial your completed book for it to be counted.
Your teacher will then place your tally on the chart in class each day.
The last day to read for the Read-A-Thon is August 20th
. No books will be counted after this date. Make sure you return your reading log to your teacher by Monday
August 23rd for the final count.
1. Reading before and after school counts.
2. Reading before the official beginning of the Read-A-Thon does not
3. Reading during class time does count but only if it is “read to self”.
4. Being read to by other people does count.
5. Reading in a train, with a fox, in the rain or on a box does count.
6. Reading aloud to other people or pets does count.
7. Reading under the bed covers, with a flashlight, late at night counts.
8. Reading instead of doing your homework does not count.
9. Reading instead of watching TV or playing video games does count.
10. Reading assigned homework book does count
