Lessons will be suspended from 11.45am on Friday 28^th February  to allow teachers to conduct and prepare for the Term 1 Formal Update Interviews. This temporary change to the timetable has been approved by the School Board for next Friday. The date was selected to coincide with “Boarders Long Weekend” to minimise disruption to the school and to families. 

The purpose of the meeting is to hear how you son or daughter has started the year and to discuss your child’s goals. The teacher will also ask you for your observations and then develop a plan as to how you will work together to give you child the opportunity to be their best.

To ensure the smooth running of Friday afternoon I ask:

·         Students are collected from their classroom, after recess (11.10)

·         Teachers will only hand over their student to the child’s parent.

·         If you want another parent to collect your child, please email your child’s teacher to say who will be collecting them.

·         If you want your child to walk or ride home, please email your child’s teacher to allow us to release them. The walking or riding students will not be released until 11.45.

If you do not participate in an interview on Friday, you will be offered the opportunity to book in to speak with your child’s teacher before the end of Week 9.

A program of work will be offered to the students who remain. Students who remain on site will be supervised and safe.

If your child/ children will remain at school, please let your child’s teacher know by Thursday 27^th February, so I can ensure suitable supervision is in place.
